I'm Astara Gatewood, and if there's one thing my journey has taught me, it's that your story doesn't end when life takes an unexpected turn. Sometimes those moments become the reason you discover your true purpose.
For more than 28 years, I've built my career in the beauty industry, serving clients throughout Atlanta while growing as a hairstylist, entrepreneur, educator, and mentor. Beauty has always been my foundation, but I've learned that true success isn't just about what you create with your hands it's about how you respond when life challenges you.
Over the years, I've experienced both incredible victories and difficult setbacks. Those experiences pushed me to think differently about my future and inspired me to create multiple streams of income, which ultimately led to the vision behind BeautyProStreams. I wanted to build something bigger than a single service a platform that encourages beauty professionals and entrepreneurs to create lasting opportunities for themselves.
Health and wellness have also become a significant part of my journey. After transforming my own lifestyle and losing over 100 pounds, I gained a deeper appreciation for confidence, discipline, and personal growth. Today, I believe beauty, wellness, business, and mindset all work together to help people become the best version of themselves.
Beauty OG is more than a brand. It's a reflection of resilience, reinvention, and the belief that every setback can become the foundation for a stronger comeback. Through education, beauty, entrepreneurship, and wellness, my mission is to inspire others to keep moving forward, build something meaningful, and never allow one chapter to define the rest of their story.

You have to build with intention.
Standing on big business means taking your hustle seriously. It means making sure your business is properly organized in your state, understanding your finances, setting aside money for taxes, creating systems, and treating your income like a real business because it is. The goal is not just to make money today; the goal is to build something that can support you tomorrow.
